A Special Place with Historic and Prehistoric Significance

Although the actual farm was only officially registered in 1883, don't be fooled by this date. The natural environment of the farm has been used as a garden by people for at least 100.000 years. The Khoi, in this area the Gourikwas, kept on maintaining this beautiful natural food production environment for the last 2.500 years. A garden without fences, a garden where all species are welcomed, a garden without human intervention. The earliest humans were ecological masterminds.
